Guilderland Public Library
2228 Western Avenue
Normanskill Room (smallest of the two meeting rooms)
Discussion topic: As I write this, our very own Linda Miller has begun
the fabulous Chintz, Costumes, Quilts & Christmas European Textile
Museum and Christmas Market Tour ( http://textiletour.com/Dec08.htm
<http://textiletour.com/Dec08.htm ). She will be in Switzerland,
France, Germany and The Netherlands fondling fabric and seeing the
textile archives of several museums, including the largest collection
of printed textile sample books in the world. We've asked her to bring
back book lists and fabric sources. Her husband, Lloyd, promises to
take many, many photos to share with us. Sounds marvelous!
Variations on these tours are scheduled each year. The link to the
2009 version is http://worldofquiltstravel.com/Christmas.htm
<http://worldofquiltstravel.com/Christmas.htm Never too early to
